Please note, we strongly advise emailing us prior to purchasing a K-Sport brake kit so we can check on UK stock availability. Floating discs are usually kept in stock, however the normal lead time for non-stocked kits is 12-16 weeks, with the quicker option of 3-5 weeks for an additional cost. As the K-Sport Brakes are high value and custom made to order, we are unable to cancel or refund orders for these kits once placed with K-Sport.
Please ensure the K-Sport Brake Kit will fit your car prior to ordering - templates are supplied at the bottom of the page to allow you to check wheel clearance. As these are custom order items, they cannot be cancelled, and are non-returnable.
K-Sport Performance Brake Kit Front/Rear kits - 1st and 2nd Gen Mini
K-Sport brake kits have proven themselves to be able to hold their own in comparisons to the biggest and most established brands on the market, not only in terms of outright performance but also in their incredible reliability and durability. The special twin piston seal design has been shown to be more than a match for the worst that a British winter can thrown at them and they shrug off salt and dirt without problem. Sticking pistons and failed leaking seals just don't arise with these kits.
K-Sport offer big brake kits for a huge range of vehicle applications. We can supply kits to meet just about any need from 286mm that will squeeze under 15" wheels right up to monster floating rotor 400mm kits with the superb K-Sport Super 8 four pad calipers that will nicely fill a set of 22s.
The kits are comprehensive and include everything you need to fit the kit bar tools, pads and fluid.
• Pair of forged monoblock lightweight calipers
• Pair of race specification heavy duty brake rotors
• Pair of lightweight CNC machined aluminum bells
• Pair of steel caliper brackets
• Pair of braided brake lines with banjo bolts and fixings
• Full fitting kit
K-Sport big brake kits provide the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. Integrating new brake technology into the design of the kits allows for a kit that highly reduces brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pads surface under braking. These brake systems are designed for easy installation with minimal tools required (in most applications).
K-Sport's extreme lightweight caliper kits comes in differential bore configuration. They're machined from aircraft quality billet, weighs just over 5lbs. each, and has machined in protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Aluminum pistons, high temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are also standard on each caliper design. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over the OEM design. The stainless steel brake lines stop expansion under pressure.
Most applications utilize the 2-piece disc assembly which reduces weight both rotating and unsprung. The 2-piece design also stops thermal stresses of extreme heat from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor greatly reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional slot designs. Every rotor is always heat treated and balanced before shipment for the best possible performance.
Brake kits start from the 6 pot 286mm package through to the huge 8pot 400mm package
When the components of the kit are worn, such as the brake discs, AP parts can be fitted along with the brake pads from the following well-known brands: FERODO, EBC and PAGID.
If opting for a custom colour finish; please note there is an additional charge of £120 to pay and additional waiting times - we strongly advise contacting us prior to placing your order to discuss your order requirements
Please note that the rear brake kits do not include a handbrake. A hydraulic handbrake would need to be fitted, but please ensure this passes any MOT / test requirements.
