We are extremely pleased to announce the release and pre-order of the LEAP Tau R53 Rear Diffuser!
Designed to the fit Cooper S rear bumper * and work with R53 exhausts such as the Milltek, JCW and standard exhaust **, without the need for a battery box removal and an R56 exhaust!
The LEAP Tau Diffuser replaces the battery box skid pan, and attaches to the bottom of the battery box using the existing mounting points, also replacing the bottom black plastic trim of the Cooper S bumper. Shown in the photos and video above and below on the green R53, it also works with the rear GP trim with the flared arches, and the GP rear bumper inserts.
Manufactured from heavy duty fibreglass, it is supplied in a satin black primer finish, ready to paint, or in carbon fibre, ready to fit out of the box!
Please note that if you have GP bumper inserts fitted, you may need to remove these, or remove and re-install above the top leading edge of the Leap Tau Diffuser.
* The LEAP Tau Diffuser will not fit the Aero rear bumper.
** To fit with the standard exhaust, or exhausts with larger backboxes, the undertray part of the diffuser may require trimming, due to the standard exhaust boxes being bigger than the Milltek, JCW etc.
