V belts are transmission belts that connect to pulleys, acting as power transmitters from the engine to the ancillary components such as the alternator and hydraulic pump. In a combustion engine, the combustion of fuel causes the crankshaft to rotate, which drives the V belt pulleys, making them responsible for the correct operation of the engine.
