Front Arm Spacers improve the suspension geometry by reducing roll-center movement in MINIs with modified suspension set ups.
The roll-center on the stock front suspension of the MINI Cooper and Cooper S experiences large movements when cornering; the result of which compromises handling and results in poor feedback to the driver.
Altering front suspension geometry by raising the roll-center results in an extensive increase to roll resistance and, importantly, the reduction of suspension compression of the outside front wheel during cornering through enhanced weight transfer distribution.
Front Arm Spacers have been specially developed to correct this problem.
The result? Dramatically improved handling characteristics for any type of MINI; whether your car is standard/lightly modified (street) or a fully stripped track monster (competition). These set your front arm 17mm or 22mm lower, and are compatible with 16" wheels and higher (16", 17", 18", 19" and so on...)
These Front Arm Spacers are CNC machined using T6082 aluminnium with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 standards.
Please note, that if you have non-genuine ball joints, you may need to trim the excess thread from the ball joint stud, as some non-genuine ball joints have longer threaded studs than genuine. This would also be the case if you have wheels with a thicker than normal / stepped inside.
KAVS no longer make these with the white logo. Plain black spacers will be sent.
