This is a kit to allow you to convert from the standard 6 rib pulley and belt setup, to a wider 8 rib pulley and belt setup.
When pushing the supercharger to its RPM limit, this applies a greater demand on the belt. Adding 2 more ribs to the existing pulleys, increases surface area by 1/3, giving you 1/3 more grip on the belt, extending the life of the belt and decreasing the chance of belt slip.
